Notice, Regulations and Registration

Malta Rowing Federation (VO/2163) is pleased to confirm that the 2025 Malta National Indoor Rowing Championships will be held on Saturday 15th November 2025 at Dar tal-Providenza Gym, Siġġiewi.

All participants should register Online (Closing date to register: 04-Nov-2025, 22:00 CET).

Note:

  1. Rowers registered with Malta Rowing Federation member clubs (Siġġiewi RC and University of Malta RC) must compete under their club’s name and benefit from reduced fees. Regatta Rowers registered with Regatta Malta through an affiliated club (Birgu, Birzebbuga, Bormla, Kalkara, Marsa, Marsamxett, Senglea and Siggiewi) have the option to compete in the name of their club (provided their club consents) and also benefit from a special arrangement.
  2. The race results obtained in the indoor rowing championships will be used to rank holders of Maltese passports registered as athletes with a full member club of Malta Rowing Federation for the purpose of selection to the National Team or to receive support when participating in national or international rowing events
  3. In very exceptional circumstances (such as in-patient hospital treatment, overseas travel, etc.), a alternative racing arrangements can be made. This option is available to Malta Rowing Federation registered rowers only.
  4. In accordance with World Rowing rules “Lightweight rowers shall be weighed wearing only their racing uniform on tested scales not less than one hour and not more than two hours before their first race of each lightweight event in which they are competing, each day of the competition.” This means that participants entering as ‘Lightweight’ must weigh-in on the day of their race at the Venue between 1-2 hours before the scheduled time of their first race.
