3.3       ASSOCIATE MEMBERS (category of membership for entities participating in Indoor Rowing evens/training only)

3.3.1 ASSOCIATE MEMBERS are those entities whose aims include that of participating in indoor rowing events as an entity or providing indoor rowing training.

3.3.2 Athletes who are registered with entities who are associate members may, if they wish and declare so by filling the appropriate registration form, apply to be registered as REGISTERED ATHLETES with Malta Rowing Association (see section 3.5).

3.3.3 ASSOCIATE MEMBERS have the right to participate in indoor rowing events organised by Malta Rowing Association with their athletes who are registered with as REGISTERED ATHLETES.

3.3.4 ASSOCIATE MEMBERS do not have an automatic right to be present in Council meetings of the Association, not even as observers.

3.3.5 Entities wishing to enrol with Malta Rowing Association as ASSOCIATE MEMBERS shop apply by filling the appropriate form which should be sent to the Secretary of Malta Rowing Association and with it include:

(i) A declaration that the entity is accepting the rules of the Malta Rowing Association as listed in its Statute should the entity be accepted as an associate member;

(ii) A declaration of who will be the signatories;

(iii) The list of persons who will be registered as Registered Athletes with the entity (if available);

(iv) Payment of the Registration Fee together with a deposit of a one year registration fee and a deposit of the registration fee per athlete as stipulated in Annex II of the Statute:

This application will be considered in the first Council meeting and needs to be approved by approved by the majority of FULL MEMBERS.
